In Geography, Year 1 have been learning about human and physical features and have been searching their immediate environment (the school grounds) to see which can be found! This week they went a little further afield to find which human and physical features they could spot in the local area. Children began with a walk to Mill Plain and then walked down the High Road; finding a huge range of (mostly human in an area such as ours!) features they have been learning about. We would like to thank the children for behaving impeccably as always, and the parents who accompanied us for their support in keeping the children safe and happy!
