Our Values
As you know every month we celebrate a different value in school and this is shared at the top of our newsletter. We explore these values through our wider curriculum and assemblies in school. When we see children displaying these values, they are awarded a sticker to celebrate their behaviour.
In assembly this week as part of our work on simplicity, we have explored the simple phrase 'Be Kind' and what this means - whether that is at home, school or out in our community. In school, we talk about using kind words and using our Golden Rule which is:
We look after ourselves, other people and our school.
I am proud of one member of squirrel class who has received three values stickers for being kind and helpful to others this week. I look forward to seeing lots more in the coming weeks.
We ask you to work with us and discuss these values with your child to reinforce the work we do in school.
