About Us
As Headteacher and on behalf of the children, staff and governors, I take great pleasure in welcoming you to our school.
We are a large infants’ school situated in South Woodford. We have attractive school grounds, including an outdoor classroom, which the children use as part of their wide curriculum, and age appropriate play equipment in every playground.
We strive to create the highest standards in learning and teaching, and strongly believe that our children should develop a love for learning that prepares them for the future, that they feel safe and secure, that they relish a challenge and that they have the opportunity to reach their full potential. We are passionate about being an infant school and the role it has to play in the academic, social and cultural achievements of our pupils. We have devised a rich, diverse curriculum to inspire and engage all our children.
We are a truly inclusive school and cater for a range of special educational needs. We have recently become a Flagship School, which is the final level of the Inclusion Mark. We received our award in September 2018 and are incredibly proud of this achievement.
We are proud that our children and families speak a very wide range of languages, which are valued and showcased around our school and throughout the curriculum. Our school is a multi-cultural school that reflects our community and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
We have committed staff, wonderful children and supportive parents, and by working together we will continue to build on the strengths of our school to make it even more successful. We aim to give our children the best start in their academic life and be successful in whatever path they choose to follow in the future.
Please explore our website, and I look forward to welcoming you to our school.
