In Reception this week the children participated in a 'Pirate Extravaganza'. In the morning they decorated ship's biscuits with jewel fruits, they created treasure maps, pirate flags and hats. They built pirate ships in the playground and painted a large scale, under the sea scene. In the afternoon we had a visit from Sailing Sally and Seaweed Sam who played the violin and the guitar and we all joined in singing lots of songs. The children had a fantastic and exciting day.
