Linked with our learning in History (around significant individuals in the history of flight and how their contributions have shaped our lives today), Year 2 have made their own paper planes in Science! Children each made their own plane from different types of paper and predicted which they thought would fly the furthest and why. They then tested them, making sure to keep everything else the same, and explained their results using what they have been learning about the properties of materials!
