This week, our Year 1 children took part in a fascinating workshop run by historians from Epping Forest Museum. They travelled back in time 150 years, beyond living memory, to find out if toys that children played with in the past are the same or different to toys now. The workshop enabled the children to develop their historical enquiry skills as they looked carefully at a diary from the past and handled artefacts. The children impressed our visitors with their observation skills and thoughtful questions.
