Lunar New Year is one of the most important celebrations of the year among East and Southeast Asian cultures, including Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean communities, among others. It was traditionally a time to honour deities as well as ancestors, it has also become a time to feast and to visit family members.

This week at Churchfields Infants, we have started to celebrate the festival by learning all about the traditions and history.
